A few more street pictures,
some around the fishing harbour, with the small boats ferrying people and other activity nearby
the carrying pole:
I was impressed by the well-tuned flexibility of the pole, which allows the load to stay almost level during the walk (maybe the carrier also adapts to the pole's response, or chooses the pole according to personal walk pattern/load ? )
A quick search found this (although I would have preferred to see the comparison with a rigid pole,
or with experienced pole carriers .. ) ...maybe worth pursuing!
